Charlemagne Ballesteros, originally from the Philippines, has always been driven by a passion for helping others. As a nurse back home, he found fulfilment in seeing unwell patients recover and leave the hospital with gratitude and a smile. Initially drawn to healthcare for financial reasons, Charlemagne discovered his true calling.
Three months ago, Charlemagne began a new chapter, relocating to Northern Ireland to work as a Health Care Assistant with Beaumont Healthcare. While the journey was filled with challenges, adjusting to a new job, culture, and finding accommodation, he remained focussed on his dream to build a life in the UK.
"This is the dream. I’ve prepared all my life for this moment, and now I’m where I’ve always wanted to be," he shared.
